An enhanced heat-and-mass exchange process is typical for modern dehydration methods. This could be achieved in different ways: increasing the contact area between the product and drying agent; reducing the relative humidity of the drying agent; using combined heat supply; increasing dehydrated material and drying agent conveyance speed.
